Jay Witherbee Talks About Portion Sizes
In the Get Fit Lake Chelan Cooking class on Tuesday October 14, Jay Witherbee presented an informative outlook on how portion control helps with weight loss. Jay showed us several different ways in which we can have a healthy diet and still make eating a rewarding experience. The answer? Small portions that are satisfying and yet delicious. Controlling the amount of condiments, main meals, and even deserts can keep you in a good state of mind and body. He presented a great meal with Back Cod, baked potatoes, salad, and deserts.
We had a great round table discussion about the different foods and what their values were to stay healthy. It was a great and informative class.
